    Columbia Wrath Dead Flush

    Thursday, April 17, 2008, 05:48 PM [General]

The Columbia Dead Flush is a great entry into the Columbia 300 line. I was not a big fan of the High Flush because it did not corner or recover very well. I only found the ball useful on fresh patterns if I were right of 10 or something like the PBA Cheetah. The Dead flush recovers much better yet retains the controllability of the High Flush. I find the carry to be much better than the High Flush. I don't remember the specifics of top weight, the pin was 3-4" out. The ball was drilled with the pin over the fingers approximately 5" from my PAP. CG is about 4 1/2" from the PAP.

Compared with the Rival I would say the Dead Flush goes 2-3 feet longer and is stronger in the backend on dry. On Heavy Oil the Rival will outhook the Dead Flush. Compared with the Momentum I would say the Momentum hooks up earlier and is stronger in the backend.

The Dead Flush is a great ball espescially on your typical House Pattern.
